OWNERSHIP

Brenden Tillett

Brenden Tillett is originally from Fort Myers, Florida. His two sons; Austen and Izaiah, are active participants in our community’s youth baseball leagues. In addition to the Batter’s Box, Brenden owns Limitless Auto and Diesel, an automotive repair facility, which is located on the same property where he and partner Will Kerns brought The Batter’s Box to life.

Since moving to Frankfort, Brenden has always wanted more for the community. As a parent of two boys, he knows there have never been many local facilities aimed at serving kids. Once he started coaching little league for Austen, his youngest son, Brenden saw first-hand the lack of community resources specifically available for those with an interest in baseball and softball. That’s why he and Will partnered to establish the Batter’s Box.

Brenden is excited to introduce The Batter’s Box to Frankfort and looks forward to working with both local youth and their parents – as well as those from surrounding counties – to realize their dreams of improving their baseball skills and playing “America’s Pastime” as competitively as possible.

Brenden’s businesses, The Batter’s Box and Limitless Auto & Diesel are just the start of Brenden’s vision for improving the quality of life in Frankfort and Franklin County.

Will Kerns

Will Kerns was born and raised in Frankfort, Kentucky and is a graduate of Franklin County High School and Eastern Kentucky University. Will is married to his wife D’Ann and they have three sons, Micah, Bennett and Carter. In addition to his role with the Batter’s Box, Will is the owner of GlossPro Detailing Studio which is also headquartered in Franklin County.

Being a permanent resident of Frankfort, Will has spent much of his life around local athletics. From his playing days in the 1990’s/2000’s to his coaching days in the 2020’s one thing has been a constant issue and that’s the lack of indoor training facilities accessible to the general public. It’s the hope of both Will and Brenden that the Batter’s Box will be the permanent solution to this decades old problem.

Will is excited for The Batter’s Box to become integrated in the community and invites everyone, from all skill levels, to come train with us!
